Comparison website Broadband Genie were launching their first TV campaign and so Wordley Productions approached us, as character animation specialists, to bring the Genie to life!

We LOVE traditional 2D animation and couldn’t wait to sharpen our digital pencils! Handling everything from storyboard through to animation (the best bit), we developed the Genie’s character to be a balance between extrovert and expert. Using classical animation techniques of old with technology of today, we “tradigitally” animated the BBG into being.

Opening with hyper-realistic CG and moving into the wacky cartoon world of the Broadband Genie, we created a super slick TV advert packed with brand enhancing character!
