Choose your ship and brave the perilous roads of the Eye-Drive Raceway! This eye-controlled 3D sci-fi racer pits you against a roster of seasoned pilots. With a pumping soundtrack, navigate treacherous tracks using your eyes, switches, or mouse to claim the coveted pole position. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Created as part of a suite of games for prestigious UK gaming charity Special Effect, Eye Drive can be controlled with your eyes, a mouse, a gamepad, a switch interface, a keyboard, and any combination thereof!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

WINDING TRACKS WITH SMOOTH CONNECTIONS<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

This project made heavy use of Dreamteck Splines to give a high degree of flexibility, and rapid iteration time when designing the race courses, allowing us to make subtle adjustments to the curvature of different corners and giving us a consistent central point to anchor the racing ship to, too.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

USE LANES OR FOLLOW THE ORB<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

As is typical of almost all the Special Effect games, we include both a Precise control mode, and a Classic control mode. In Eye Drive, Classic takes the form of three lanes from which the player can choose, with precise mode having the car follow an orb which represents the player\u2019s gaze or mouse position.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
